Peggy Gifford Interview

When our book club met on Tuesday, March 3rd. we had our phone interview with Peggy Gifford, author of February's pick Moxy Maxwell does Not Love Writing Thank-You Notes. It was so exciting! Our group was packed into my little office to have our phone interview over the intercom.
The kids had some very thoughtful questions for the author. Did you know that Peggy wanted to be a very famous movie star when she was a kid? It seems that Peggy has a a lot of Moxy and that Moxy has a lot Peggy! We learned all about Peggy's writing process. The book club also had some great suggestions for Moxy's List of 211 Possible Career Paths. A penguin keeper? How about giving pirate tours? Just to name a few. Peggy was extremely gracious to do a telephone interview with our book club. Thank you, Peggy!! The kids were so enthusiastic and could not believe that the author actually took the time to talk to them! And oh, they loved the book too!
